Materials needed: A clear bowl of water
- Fill a clear bowl with water and place it on a stable surface
- Gently disturb the water with your finger
- Observe three phases:
- The active ripples (representing busy thoughts/mindsets.)
- The gradual settling (transition phase.)
- The still clarity (representing mind state.)
- Notice how:
- Each disturbance is temporary
- Clarity is the water’s natural state
- The deeper water remains undisturbed
- Reflection questions:
- What mindsets (surface movements) am I carrying today?
- What is my deeper mind state beneath these temporary patterns?
- How can I access that deeper clarity while engaging in daily activities?
